Why is my Sküma is not producing waste water?Updated 6 months ago

If your Sküma is not producing waste water, it could be due to one of two reasons:

    1.    The valve where the waste tank sits is stuck due to back pressure.

    •    This happens when the waste tank is lifted during filtration or shortly after filtration is finished.

    •    Solution: Press down on the spring-loaded valve to release the pressure. To prevent this in the future, avoid lifting the waste tank while the system is filtering.

    2.    The flow restrictor is clogged with limescale.

    •    This can occur if you live in a hard water area and the unit hasn’t been descaled regularly.

    •    Solution: Ensure you descale your Sküma every 5-8 weeks. If the flow restrictor is clogged, please reach out to info@skumawater.com, and our team will assist you with resolving the issue.

By following these steps, you can restore your Sküma’s functionality and keep it running smoothly!
